Classes are delivered as ‘open level’ which means beginners are welcome and options are provided for most levels of ability, experience and fitness.
Classes are designed with a mindful movement focus. These are ‘Pilates based’ movement classes, mixing up original ‘classic’ pilates with contemporary repertoire. We often use use small props such as balls, bands, blocks and rollers to enhance the quality, intensity, feedback and add a challenge to the work. We also borrow from other movement modalities such as yoga, feldenkrais, qi gong and dance with the aim of experiencing a ‘full body’ workout, that doesn’t solely focus on ‘core strength’.
Start yourself off on the Pilates Journey by taking advantage of either the special intro offer by booking in for the ‘New Starter Intro pack’ which includes a full movement assessment (45 min 1:1) prior to joining group sessions and allows for a more personalised approach, enhancing your understanding of your body and key focus areas during Group sessions OR Book into a Group Mat Class directly, if you are feeling more confident.
